Colours of Egypt 1st International Art Exhibition. The Cultural Office, represented by Dr. Nevine Khaled, the Cultural Counselor, and Dr. Ghada Abdel Bari, the Cultural Attaché, organized an exhibition entitled “Colours of Egypt”, with the participation of Farida Darwish, Rasha Ghalib, Farida El Kouni and Dina Fahmy.Inaugurated by Mrs. Omneya Badawi, wife of H.E. Ihab Badawy, Ambassador of Egypt in France, Minister Plenipotentiary / Hisham Al-Maqoud, Deputy Ambassador and his spouse.
Colours of Egypt art exhibition in Paris provided an opportunity to introduce the French society to the honourable models of these creative Egyptian women.
It was the beginning of a sequel of exhibitions in Europe that aim, in addition to the artistic part, to correct misconceptions about Egyptian and Arab women showing successful models and talents of distinguished women in various arts.
The exhibition, was visited by politicians, French intellectuals and artists who appreciate ancient and contemporary Egyptian heritage.
