In a joyful atmosphere and in the presence of artists and art lovers, CLEG Art Gallery had the pleasure to host Ahmed El Dafrawy’s Solo Exhibition of بساطةELNAFS.  About this exhibition:

We walk this Earth bearing the responsibility of ourselves,

seeking to nurture it,

every moment protecting it,

Oneself seeks to possess, give and grow

And with solitude mankind embraces the voice of oneself

As if discovering it for the first time

given a chance to liberate itself from oppression

And when one embraces the skies, the waters and the earth,

’tis the moment of embracing the secret of its creation.

Balance and precision that simplifies its existence

while desiring a mind to exhaust it

while simplifying a mind that controls it

’tis important to believe in the desires of oneself

and ’tis our duty to simplify it.

Simplify the self.  الواحد فينا ماشي في الدنيا شايل امانه نفسه يكبرها و بيسعى جاهدا كل لحظة و بيشقى للحفاظ عليها النفس عايزه تمتلك، تحافظ، تعطي، و تنضج و مع العزله و الفراغ يدرك النسان صوت نفسه كانك بتتعرف عليها لول مره و تمنح فرصة للتحرر من قيودها و التامل في السماء و الاء و الرض تدرك سر خلقها توازن و اعتدال بمقدار يبسط بقاءها طالا ترغب فالعقل يجهدها حينما تبسط عقل يحكمها الهم تفادي تعقيد رغبات النفس و من الواجب بساطتها بساطة النفس.
