He joined the first batch to enter the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria when it was established in 1957 and graduated in 1962 (specializing in engraving and printing). The graduation topic was (Fishermen and the Sea).

– Master’s degree in the art of engraving on Arabic calligraphy 1972.

– Member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists.
