– Bachelor of Fine Arts, Department (Photography) 1951 – Cairo.
– Postgraduate studies in the psychology of the fourth dimension, Brera Academy – Milan – Italy – 1966.
– Studies in the foundations of design and lectures on Cairo mosques, including: Sultan Hassan, Sheikha Safia and some characteristics of Islamic architecture.
Jobs and professions undertaken by the artist:
-Worked as a painting teacher at the People’s University for Amateurs and then in the mass culture.
– Teacher at the Cinema Institute and the Faculty of Fine Arts 1964-1972.
– Professor of graduate studies at Blacksburg University, Department of Architecture – Virginia – America.
– He retired from cultural life – since 1987 and continued to produce in his studio.
Scholarships and grants::
– Mission to the Luxor Ceremony at the Fine Arts Gallery from 1952: 1953.
Local and international encyclopedias in which the artist’s name is listed
– Encyclopedia of the Museum in a book written by Dr. Sobhi Al-Sharouni (published by Dar Al-Shorouk 1998).
– He has works in the Gugliona Gallery in Rome since 1966.
Publications and cultural activities
– He is the author of several books on plastic art, including the book ‘Freedom of the Artist’ 1980, Movement in Art and Life – How to Read a Picture (Cultural Library No. 213), Psychology of Lines (Cultural Library No. 175), Writings in Popular Art 1976, Psychology of Movement, Texture and the book (That Other Side) An attempt to understand the esoteric music of poetry and art.
– He founded Gallery Magazine in 1977.
– A large number of artists studied in his studio, most of whom became major artists.
– He designed the decoration, clothes and lighting for a number of plays presented by the National Theater
– He directed and edited the plastic arts section in the writer’s magazine and the magazine magazine – writings in popular art – Egyptian radio – literature.
