Ayman Shalaby was born in downtown Cairo in 1974.
His adolescence was heavily influenced by the neo-classical art Movements of the time, and most of his free time as a child was spent sketching and honing his natural disposition for seeing art in the mundane world.
As a self-taught artist, Shalaby races to learn of the professional art world, and find his place among the plethora of neo-classical artists. Some of the most prominent themes of his work include opera, animals, birds, as well as the human figure.
His covered topics include the history of art, the practice of understanding art, the science of colors, and the most influential works of the old and modern ages. His art first debuted in 2020: since then, he has been participating in the annual exhibitions “Generations of Art” and “Small Artworks” at Cordoba Art Gallery.
