Meshieal received his BA from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, Cairo, 1967. He was known for his special taste in selecting the colors that enhance the dramatic dimension in his paintings. In some of his paintings, he resorts to cubism, portraying harmony in the spots of light as though playing a musical melody.
Fascinated by women whether in portraiture or composition, he made them the main part in his paintings. In both types, women seem to be a symbol of liberation, departure and intimate contact with nature. He usually depicts women in an eternal atmosphere shrouded in mystery while swimming in the colors of the rainbow.
